Quiet Sunday and Kew

Well that was a disappointing Saturday, France comfortable winners against Italy and Scotland imploded against England to hand them an easy victory and retention of the Six Nations Championship.

After all the hype I was expecting Scotland to be on their game against an England side that had not played well but keep winning.  England ran in 7 tries in a fine performance against a Scottish team who clearly forgot how to tackle and were overawed by the occasion.

Still a nice day in Twickers and I did manage to watch some of the Wales U20s victory over their Irish counterparts and met up with friends at The Eel Pie before and after the game.

I was hoping to get a look at Marianne North’s famous gallery today at Kew, keeping my International Women’s Day theme going, but it was closed. However I had a nice refreshing walk around the gardens for some good photographs.

Heading back to Wales shortly and a busy week before heading to Paris for the weekend for the final games of this years Six Nations, it’s gone so fast!  Time for a spot of lunch 🙂
